Treatment Services

CICS can direct clients to a variety of inpatient and outpatient resources focused on an individual’s mental and physical health. These resources are chosen to help maintain or improve the psychological, emotional and behavioral health of the individual and to prevent conditions that would present barriers to that individual, his or her family and community.

  • Assessment and Evaluation

What treatment resources will be of value to an individual’s personal goals? That is best determined through a comprehensive screening process that considers the emotional, behavioral, cognitive, psychological and physical conditions of the individual to determine the appropriate care.

  • Integrated Health Homes

Integrated Health Home services include assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation and advocacy for options and services to meet an individual's and family's needs. Case managers are focused on helping individuals better manage their mental health or intellectual and other developmental disabilities and supporting individuals and families in their efforts to live productively in the communities they call home.

  • Medicaid Funded Case Management

Case management services include assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation and advocacy for options and services to meet an individual's and family's needs. Case managers are focused on helping individuals better manage their mental health or intellectual and other developmental disabilities, prevent any relapse and support individuals and families in their efforts to live productively in the communities they call home.

  • Medication Prescribing and Management

The wrong medications or not staying on a prescribed drug regimen is a common cause of a relapse or hospitalization. This service, administered and monitored by a licensed prescriber, ensures that the proper medications are prescribed and those medications are being taken as ordered.

  • Mental Health Inpatient Therapy

Hospitalization is available when outpatient services are not adequate to keep an individual safe.

  • Mental Health Outpatient Therapy

Therapy is a valuable tool for dealing with challenging life situations.

  • Services in Jail

Individuals in county jails within the CICS region may receive psychiatric and therapy services, funding for psychiatric medication, and specialized service coordination services to assist with reconnecting to the community upon release.
